Blackall Blues
Based in the Maleny area, these very experienced musicians perform the different feels and moods of the contemporary blues. With Roger Beare (sax and vocal), Sam Shepherd (guitar and vocal), Darryl Miller (drums) and Kevin Brand (bass and vocal), the background of their experience is impressive – from Sam’s winning numerous awards as a guitarist and playing alongside Michael Fix, Diesel, Bruce Mathiske, Louis Shelton and Peter Cupples, through to Kevin travelling the world working with musicians such as Johnny Farnham and Daryl Braithwaite.
Blues Bandits
Similar to the above band with Roger Beare, Sam Shepherd and Kev Brand playing the original music of Roger Beare plus a cover or two.
Terence Boyd Thallon & Band
Terence Boyd Thallon is a man who has travelled and absorbed varying cultures. His songs are a sense of story and dream awakening the valkyries of hope. Performances have the audience taken on a journey as the 'bard' of story telling with a unique percussive approach to guitar playing, leaving an atmosphere of energetic charge, with songs that vary from rhythmic ballads, to sea shanty dreamings and the adventurous explosions of "street grunge".
Artist , musician and surfer, Terence grew up in a travelling family, father a fisherman from Ireland and mother Clairvoyant Gypsy wonder-woman. Born under a star with a donkey present, Terence was old schooled in India and Europe. In between horse wagons and airports he has thumbed out poetry, tall stories and musical ballads.
Terence's band takes various incarnations, one of which we will enjoy at the festival, but may include saxophonist Lee Hardisty, bassist Johnny Collins, and possibly drummer Elliot Gwynne.

Linley Boyle - Body Song Yoga, Maypole and creative dance 
Linley Boyle has been tying the good folk of Eudlo in knots for over 20 years. This form of Yoga is gentle and has many modified postures suitable for dodgy knees, shoulders and other recalcitrant body parts. A morning session will unloosen the tightness of the night before, clear the head and settle the nerves. Bring a mat if you have one and join us for an energising, enjoyable class at Wominjeka. Linley will also do a maypole dance on Sunday morning for kids and adults.
Brendan The Mindfulness Poet 
Join Brendan for our first ever Poet's Breakfast / Storyteller's smorgasbord. Brendan’s passionate performance poetry and friendly story telling gives you the experience of Mindfulness as entertainment. He paints a big picture of relationship, work, fantasy, adventure, healing, discovery; all drawing on his life experiences (including time as a Buddhist Monk, Yoga Teacher and Counsellor). Joining Brendan for this light-hearted romp of words and rhyme will be a plethora of poets including Ian Mackay, Robin Archibold and our good friend Irishman Joe Lynch will be "breaking a leg' to be there! So if words are your thing get along and share!

Deni Chapple with Roger Beare, Doug Pullen and Mike Duggan
Deni, being a lover of kids, was a teacher for many years but family and her dedication to music got in the way so these days she'd prefer to follow her natural love which is music where she is both performing as a singer guitarist and “spinning the discs” with Deni’s Mix on Wild Horse FM. Her friends or accompanists are many and varied, but on this outing will include Roger Beare - sax, Doug Pullen - bass and Mike Duggan - percussion. Cigány Weaver
Formed out of a love for the legendary partnership of Django Reinhardt and Stéphane Grapelli, Cigány Weaver are one of Australia's most exciting gypsy-jazz ensembles. Their virtuosic and energetic live performances invoke everything from subtle toe-tapping to exuberant dance floor foot-stomping.
Their sound is reminiscent of jazz Manouche, traditional swing and Romani music, interwoven with contemporary material from artists like Bjork, and the band’s reinterpretations of classics from popular culture.
Cigány Weaver continue to make their stamp on the Australia’s vibrant live music scene and cement their place as a must-see band.

Cloudstreet
Hot harmonies & beautiful ballads, Cloudstreet present high-quality concert performances of new Australian folk music. Incorporating traditional and contemporary influences from England, Ireland and Australia. Their music is engaging, exciting and fun. Dennis Sisters
Hailing from the Sunshine Coast, The Dennis Sisters, have been honing their song-writing craft and refining their engaging harmonies to create their own genre-crossing original music, for the past three years. With Tiana (18) on guitar and Briannah (19) on bass, the girls began writing in their early teens after a long period of chronic illness which prevented them attending school. They each contribute to song-writing, share lead vocals and blend harmonies the way only siblings can, and in a compelling style spanning Folk, Alt-Country and Pop. The Dennis Sisters released their debut single ‘Find Me’ on January 20th 2018, charting at no. 1 on the Triple J Unearthed Roots Charts, and receiving a Highly Commended at the Queensland Music Awards. They have also been performing at some of Australia’s leading music festivals including Gympie Muster, Tamworth, Groundwater and Caloundra Music Festival.

Peter Driscoll
Mike Duggan
Mike is an enthusiastic percussionist, having played drums of all types for 45 years. For the last seven years, Mike has both played and built Cajon drums, being a regular backing percussionist with the Glasshouse Musos, playing standard Cajon, Bongo-Cajon and Conga-Cajon drums. Mike will be on site at the festival all weekend showing his drums and interested attendees the different parts that make up the Cajon, and how to play them to get the best sound and rhythm. If you own a Cajon, bring it along, if not, just come along and have some fun with the drums. Mike and the festival will be offering two sets of his bongo-cajons as prizes for this festival. One will be for a lucky online ticket buyer and the other will be as the main festival raffle prize. Pictured above is a set typical of the prizes, although as Mike notes, all his drums are different.
Eudlo Songwriters
In conjunction with the Eudlo Music Nights festival we are running a songwriting workshop in Eudlo. It is a weekly get-together at the Eudlo Hall over the two months leading up to each festival - commencing the first week in February and restarting the first week in August. Each week we analyse a well known song and enjoy a songwriting exercise, and we have the opportunity to share songs we are writing, and look to each other for feedback.
A number of the songwriters attending the workshop have the opportunity to share something they are writing at one of the songwriters concerts at the festival.

Ryan Giles and friends
From funky acoustic blues to raw ballads and dope-sick downbeat soul, Ryan Giles’s songs resonate, entice and delight. Catch the front man of The Rumbrellas in an intimate, raw, acoustic performance, joined on this occasion by Jay Ray on bass and Sparky on brushes.
Gypsy Rumble
Heralded as 'Australia's quirkiest and possibly only ukulele-based bluegrass/reggae/folk band', Gypsy Rumble has its roots in Celtic, world music and bush dance traditions. The band's enthralling, high energy performances are renowned for audience participation as they seamlessly blend showmanship, comedy, artistry and tradition.
The Gypsy Rumble consist of Captain Screechplank, One-Eyed Willy and Paddy Spudnips. The band's origins lie by the banks of a creek in Cameron's Pocket, for it was there through the morning mist that the haunting sounds of violin teased the air.
Harvey and Co
Peter Harvey and Phil Brown (known as Harvey and Co) deliver an eclectic mix of roots-based music that ranges across the spectrum from traditional American tunes to blues and modern folk. The signature of their sound is the interaction of colourful guitar and/or violin with the occasional vocal harmony intertwined.
Much of the material is original drawn from Harvey’s CD backlog (including over 25 years with the iconic band “Rough Red”) or from new material arising from their collaboration. The Harvey and Co approach to performance is continually open to improvisation with a view to making every show fun for the audience and for the players.
Louise King
Louise is a multi-award winning graduate of the Royal Colleges of Music in London and Manchester, and has worked extensively throughout the UK, Europe and Asia with the BBC Philharmonic, the Hallé Orchestra, and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and is on faculty at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University. As a soloist and chamber music partner, she performs in Australia’s festivals and established classical concert series and has recorded sixteen albums since 2003 showcasing diverse creative practice from New Music, Chamber Music, Early Music and singer-songwriters including three albums for ABC classics.
As Artistic Director of Cello Dreaming she is a conductor, teacher, mentor and producer of community and professional classical music events and supports global music for social change programs.

Rob Longstaff 
Rob is a New Zealand born, Australian bred, Berlin based Pop/Soul/Blues musician, globetrotter and adventurer.
After working Australia’s tough but rewarding pub circuit, Rob packed his bags for Berlin, a city which he now calls home. In between his musical accomplishments Rob likes a challenge, having now hitchhiked across three continents, toured Indian and African orphanages and hospitals, ventured to Antarctica and travelled overland from Berlin to Australia by bicycle, train and ship.
Convinced by the idea of slow travelling the singer/songwriter did the German release tour for his album „Boogaloo“ on a solar boat and took a trip through the US on a custom electric trike. He also has been experimenting with the tiny house and the zero waste food movements.
Powerful vocals with humorous lyrics, passionate guitar playing and charm make him a one-man-groove-machine that runs with or without amplification.
Rob’s yet to be named second studio album with Blackbird Music is slated for release this year and typically features an ambitious mix of fun styles but with a little something for everyone.

The Lots
“The Lots” banded together in the forests of the Sunshine Coast and they create a subtropical blend of groove based riffs and hooks laced with vocal and brass harmonies.
With a broad range of influences from roots/reggae to ska and funk these multi-instrumentalists thrive on the co-
created, self-expression that can occur when people allow music to move, transform and uplift them.
The recent release of their debut Ep “Sit Up Straight” (recorded at Yama-Nui studios by infamous local producer and musician Paulie B.) sees The Lots staying true to their earthy character and political style whilst reminding us all not to take things TOO seriously.

Known as "Australia's King of Rockabilly", the magical voice and guitar playing, coupled with the warmth and charisma of Ian B. MacLeod shines through whether he's dressed in black leather belting out "Blue Suede Shoes" or in rhinestones and fringes crooning "Love Song of the Waterfall". Come along and see what has been exciting audiences since the early 60s when Ian began his career on the Johnny O’Keefe Show!

Emily Maguire
With five albums and three books to her name, British singer-songwriter, poet and multi-instrumentalist Emily Maguire is truly "a talent to be reckoned with" (RnR Magazine). With a remarkable, inspiring story to tell, she has been featured many times in interviews and playlists on BBC Radio. Renowned for her thought-provoking lyrics and hauntingly beautiful songs, Emily has toured the UK extensively with American legend Don McLean and Eric Bibb among others. "Exquisite" (Uncut Magazine) "Music for the soul" (Maverick Magazine). She will be joined in this performance by bassist / producer Christian Dunham.

Dave Martyn
The first thing that strikes you listening to Dave is how authentic the sound seems to be. With stinging slide, hollering and moaning, it could have been coming from one of the old delta blues guys of the 1920s. Dave is a veteran of the now defunct blues train, and a thousand open mics at the Cardigan Bar, near where he lives on Brisbane's northside. He recently recorded an album in the manner the old blues men were originally recorded – one man, one guitar, one microphone. It is called The Blues Gene. As his producer Peter Harvey says, I think we captured the essence – Dave Martyn is the blues.

Dave Orr band
Playing the blues is never as simple as it seems. It’s a balancing act between virtuosity and feel, rawness and finesse. Many try, but few seem to nail it like DAVE ORR. At the heart of his music is that unmistakably raw blues guitar. It’s the sound of late night whiskey bars, of musicians stretching themselves and just letting loose.

Out of Abingdon & the Steve Section
Out of Abingdon have over 10 years enchanted audiences in Australia, Europe and the UK. This soulful jazz/blues duo combines Warwick Hargreaves’ mesmerising, intricate guitar work and husky vocals with Tina Fullerton’s groove laden double bass and seductively silky vocals – drawing from a range of influences they’ve honed a sound all their own creating offbeat interpretations and passion-fuelled original tunes.
For a special treat on the Saturday concert the duo branches out adding the ‘Steve Section’ to their sound! Stephen Ewart is a Woodford based musician who plays trombone, trumpet and flugelhorn. Steve has over 30 years experience as a professional musician and has shared his unique stage presence with the likes of Australian music legends Paul Kelly, Jo Jo Zep and Kids in the Kitchen. Steve Stiller is a Brisbane-based percussionist who loves to connect with his audience. Often performing on the concert hall stage with his ensemble ‘Percussimo’ he is also at home behind a drum kit at many annual music festivals.

Red Crow
Crushed velvet and broken glass, cigar smoke and a gathering storm. RedCrow is a band of contrary themes. Americana alt-country roots music shares a whisky with wide ambient soundscapes; concise, lyrically rich songs swap stories with longer ambling works. RedCrow is a sultry, humid alt-country/ambient Americana four-piece from Brisbane who sing songs of life and grit that will leave you with a smile on your face and dirt in your soul.

Tin Star
They have been described as the Dixie Chicks meets Bruce Springsteen however Brisbane trio Tin Star can be hard to pin down. Inspired by the folk scenes of sixties Greenwich Village and Laurel Canyon, their strength is the intimacy and passion of three vocals that curl like smoke around each other. … Adding guitar, fiddle and accordion creates a sound that is quite incomparable; a melting pot of the diverse musical influences of the three members – traditional folk, western swing, alt-country, indie pop and American rock.
They have just released their debut CD A Better Way To Do Things featuring predominantly originals. They pack a punch on first listen but will have you humming them long after you first heard them. This album is now available via Bandcamp, Itunes and also streaming on Spotify.

Ian Ross Williams
One side of Ian Ross Williams' music is the thoughtful singer songwriter influenced by many of the great artists of our time, including Bob Dylan, the Beatles, Shel Silverstein and Paul Simon. The other side is the school music teacher.
As well as writing, recording and performing in Queensland and interstate, Ian is a Primary School music Specialist based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. His songs are used by various Departments of Education in Australian Primary Schools and have also been recorded by the ABC for their ‘SING’ projects. The songs are largely concerned with adventure and wonder and are educational without being obtrusively so. Many are about life in the northern, topical or outback parts of the country, which is where Ian lived for many years. Some of the songs contain Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islands language, and often include a gentle multicultural message. Another engaging feature is the multitude of musical styles presented, giving children exposure to a large variety of musical genres. Ian’s YouTube channel has received over 46,000 views.

Ukulele for absolute beginners. Fun 1 and 2-chord songs with easy strums, on Saturday at 1.30pm, and
Cups Songs, Tuned & Body Percussion at the Cabbage Café - kids percussion workshop on Saturday at 3.30pm.
Ian will show you how to do the Cups Song and some body percussion, plus a fantastic little song called The CABBAGE CAFE to play on tuned percussion (Cups, Xylophones and Chime bars supplied). Most suited to 7 to 14 year-old kids, but everyone is welcome.
Janine Williams and Velvet Vintage
You may know Janine’s strong clear voice and lyrical landscapes from her ‘Wominjeka Park’ song accompaniment for the Eudlo Music Nights April 2019 video, released on You Tube. Janine is a classically trained violinist, that stared singing in restaurants and weddings with her beloved 12 string guitar, aged 16, with a head full of music from the 1960’s and 1970’s. Janine went on to backpack the world performing across four continents, with highlights that include clubs on Bourbon St, New Orleans, Glastonbury Festival (1982), also warming up for the The Hollies in Weston-Super-Mare, U.K. Janine has a new EP releasing later this year.
Velvet Vintage is a Bribie Island based band and its members include Peter Piddington (guitar), Selwyn Brul (drums), Dave Moore (bass) and Peter Orr (lead guitar).
